Stage 1

Good morning. Nothing to notable this morning other than a dog running onto the course which cause a crash early on. Several riders have been rotating back to get medical treatment including Ivan Basso and David Millar.

We have a 3 man break that includes Lars Boom (Rabobank), Maarten Wijnants (QuickStep) and Alan Perez Lezaun (Euskaltel) with a gap of just over 4 minutes. There’s still about 100K or 60 miles remaining. Neither the peloton or the break is working very hard but this is just the calm before the storm.

Unfortunately the two riders that crashed yesterday, Mathias Frank (BMC) and Manuel Cardoso (Footon) were unable to start.

Check back soon as the race continues to develop.

Hello! I came across this site while I was searching for several wellness related terms in google earlier today. After I wound up here I remained about a little bit to go through some articles… impressive stuff. I’m going to be back around once again in the foreseeable future without a doubt.

Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to read. As you can see on the more dramatic days there are several days and on the sprint stages just a single post after the stage is completed. We’ll be morphing into NCAA & NFL Football next but there will always be cycling since it’s my passion.
